The YES community booth

Organization Summary

YMCA Employment and Career Services is a bilingual community based employment counselling service.

The Centre opened in 1985, in response to the Sudbury community's perceived need for a facility to assist youth in gaining entry to the labour market.  YMCA Employment and Career Services presently serves youth residing in the district of Sudbury.  YMCA Employment and Career Services has always recognized and understood the necessity of being attuned to the changing needs of both the unemployed and employers in the Sudbury Region.   In Sudbury, YMCA Employment and Career Services has a success rate of over 80% in serving youth between 15 and 24 years of age.  This rate of success is largely due to the quality of the programs offered through the YMCA Employment and Career Services and our ongoing relationships with employers.
